On Wednesday Scout will be 7 months old! Wow! I feel like the first year is going by way too fast!
We are having so much fun with "little miss sunshine"! She is getting more and more personality every day and she is such a joy. She laughs all the time and she loves it when you pick on her. She is sitting up all alone with no assistance for long periods of time now... and she jabbers a lot now which is so cute! I wish I knew what she was talking about. She is getting to be more comfortable around big crowds and she doesn't look at me and cry when someone she is not familiar with holds her anymore. I am not sure if she was just going through the separation anxiety phase a lot earlier, or if it is just something that she will go through from time to time...but lately she doesn't seem to mind who has her. She is getting pretty good at entertaining herself so I think that might have something to do with it. She is a huge fan of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and she will sometimes laugh out loud when it comes on TV. She also loves to see her reflection in the mirror...so funny! She is not crawling just yet but when she does I am pretty sure she will be in to everything. She is a nosy little thing! :) I love being her momma and every day it just gets better!

This weekend was gorgeous! I think it's safe to say that we are all over the ice and snow. After having to drive in it all last week...I am very ready for sunshine and warm weather! Although...I do feel like a pro when it comes to driving on ice now. Maybe not as good at walking on it though...my husband (and "others") definitely got a huge laugh out of me busting my butt walking out of a hospital in Addison last week. Even though I landed flat on my back, and had a very sore butt for most of last week...it did provide a laugh. Anyway...I am thankful for the warm weather...however brief it may be. I did get some really cute pictures of us and the kids in the snow.
I took a lot of pictures of Scout this last week. It's hard to capture every little thing, but I definitely try! She changes so fast and she looks different now then she did just a month ago. I just want to remember every little phase, and expression she has. My collection of photos is probably quite ridiculous but I don't care. We had dinner at Jen and Keith's house last night and I got some great pictures of her and Vince. Congratulations to our friends, Brandon and Emily on the birth of their baby girl, Mckinley Jayne. We can't wait to meet her and we are excited Scout will have another little friend! :)
I hope everyone has had a wonderful weekend! Goodnight!

Jill, she is PRECIOUS! I love the little black dress and those pictures of her and Vince are hilarious! When they're all grown up they'll look back at those and laugh :)
ReplyDeleteThank you! I thought they were pretty funny! Sometimes I wish I knew what they were thinking because they make the funniest expressions. Don't you ever look at Amelia and wonder what is going on in that little head of hers? They are so funny!
