9 months
Scout's new trick is to raise her arms when you say "TOUCHDOWN!" She does it almost every time you say it...pretty cute I think! :)
Scout turned 9 months old on Saturday!!! Seriously...I can not believe it has been 9 months! We went for her 9 month check up on Friday and she weighs 16.9 pounds and is 27.25 inches long. She is 10% on the weight chart and 50% for height. She was so good for Dr. Wallace and all the people in the Dr. office. She smiled and giggled at everyone. She got two shots...her flu booster and her last round of Hep B vaccine. She did SO good! When they gave her the first shot she looked at me and her eyes began to fill up with tears and then the second shot came and she let out one little yelp and I picked her up...that was it! She didn't cry at all hardly. Such a tough girl! :) When Kris walked out with her to check out she smiled at the receptionist and she said "she must not have gotten any shots today...she is too happy" and Kris said "actually..she got two shots but she it taking it very well." Anyway, they were pretty impressed by her mood. She has been a little more "moody" today. I am not sure if it is from being achy from the shots or she is just having an off day. This morning we went to church at Watermark with Grammy Jonne, Aunt Mandi , Aunt Kelly, Uncle Lewis and Uncle Josh and she did great! This afternoon she took a really long nap (not like her) and has been a little whiny this evening. She hasn't been crying...just grouchy. Hopefully she will be back to herself tomorrow. Otherwise she is doing wonderful and we are so proud of her! She makes every day a little brighter and I love being her Momma! We are still working on crawling. Somehow she manages to get to from side of the room to the other by scooting on her butt but she has not mastered the art of actually crawling yet. Some babies never do actually crawl. She wants to really bad though so we will see. Busy day tomorrow so I am going to leave you with some pictures! Good night to all and have a wonderful Monday!!!
