Happy Halloween....last week :)

Well I am a little late on this post....as usual....but better late than never. The above video is from a few weeks ago. We went over to our friends Adam and Meri's house and Scout enjoyed playing in the backyard with Adam and Meri's little boys Jackson and Jordan. She especially loved this slide which she climbed up and down on countless times even after we tried to show her the ladder that would have made the process much easier. What can I say....she prefers to do things the hard way....just like her Daddy! :)  (ok, ok....me too at times....regardless...she gets it honest). I am quite proud of her upper body strength. Pretty impressive endurance coming from those tiny little biceps. There are other videos below as well.

Last weekend we went to the Arboretum with Daddy Mike, Granny Jan, Jen, Vince, Uncle Lewis, Aunt Kelly, Britain, Uncle Josh, and Aunt Lana...and we ran in to friends Stuart and Melissa and their little girl Amelia. I got some really cute pictures! the weather was so lovely that day and it ended up being a perfect day to enjoy the scenery there. The kids had a lot of fun!

Love that sweet face..

She kept wanting to stand on this and dance...

"BOO!"

SWEETNESS!

She loves her Daddy...

After the Arboretum we went to our friends Emily and Brandon's house to celebrate our Friend Jill's birthday. Scout had a lot of fun playing with their little baby Mckinley's toys. ( and also playing house with Brandon) :) . We had a great time and Emily made a delicious dinner for us!

Last Monday night we took Scout trick-or-treating for the first time. She had a lot of fun! She didn't quite understand what she was supposed to do. When someone would come to the door she kept trying to give them her candy :). She is such a generous soul! Ha!  The first house we went to the family had set up a table in their driveway and they were playing music. Scout drops her candy bucket half way up the driveway and starts dancing...everyone clapped and laughed...but then she wouldn't stop dancing. The little girl handing out the candy had to walk over and put the candy in scout's bucket as she was dancing a jig in the driveway. It was pretty cute. Puts a whole new meaning to the saying "dancing for your dinner". What can I say....sister loves to bust a move!  She was not thrilled with the costume at first but she got over it as soon as we went outside. Cutest puppy on the planet I'd say!

She has recently discovered coloring and she is very pleased
with herself...

We are enjoying the cooler weather...not so much the shorter days...but I am beginning to get in the holiday spirit! It really crept up on me this year.  I can't believe Thanksgiving is in like 3 weeks!!! WOW!
That's all for now...I hope everyone has a blessed week!!
